When a meeting is worth its price
A meeting is a purchase. Six people for an hour at AED 400 each is AED 2,400, spent whether or not anything was decided. The test is simple: did the meeting produce decisions and commitments that were worth that much, and were they captured well enough to survive the week?
Worked example (hypothetical)
A leadership team of 6 meets three times a week for an hour, at an average loaded cost of AED 400 per person per hour. That is AED 2,400 per meeting, AED 7,200 a week, roughly AED 345,600 a year. Trimming ten minutes off each meeting frees about AED 57,600 a year. Cutting one of the three entirely frees over AED 115,000.
